OUTLOOK AMUSEMENTS PRIVACY POLICY

Effective May 17, 2012

Outlook Amusements, Inc. (“Outlook”) values your trust and is committed to the responsible management, use and protection of personal information.  This Privacy Policy describes how Outlook collects and uses the personal information you provide on our web sites:  http://www.outlookamusements.com and http://www.hiringpsychics.com/ (Henceforward “Careers Sites”) and is applicable to all the information collected by Outlook from you during your use of employment application forms.

Outlook Amusements, Inc. has been awarded TRUSTe’s Privacy Seal signifying that this privacy policy and practices have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with TRUSTe’s program requirements including transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your personal information.  The TRUSTe program covers only information that is collected through these Web sites, http://www.outlookamusements.com and http://www.hiringpsychics.com

Safe Harbor framework and the U.S. – Swiss Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland. Information You Provide
This Policy covers any personal information you submit through the Careers Sites as part of the job application or job search process, including:

Please do not submit any of the following sensitive information: Social Security number, sexual orientation, race, ethnic origin, religion, beliefs, disability, marital status, creed, nationality, national origin, color and/or age.

If you intend to provide us with details of a reference or any other third party as part of your CV/résumé, it is your responsibility to obtain consent from that third party prior to passing the personal information to us.

You are responsible for the content of the information you provide to us and you must ensure it is legal, truthful, accurate and not misleading in any way and does not infringe on any third party’s rights, or is not otherwise legally actionable by such third party.

Use of Personal Information

Personal information you provide through the Careers Sites will be collected, used, transferred and disclosed for Outlook’s recruitment functions and for related management and planning purposes. Outlook will use the personal information you provide, as permitted by applicable law, to:

Personal information about you will be added to Outlook’s candidate database and will be used for the purposes of considering whether your profile is suitable for other job vacancies at Outlook. If we elect to make you an offer, personal information you submit may be incorporated into our human resources system and used to manage the new-hire process. If you become an employee, any personal information that you submit may become part of your employee file and may be used for other employment/work-related purposes.

The provision of personal information on the Careers Sites is voluntary. Please note, failure to provide sufficient information, however, may result in Outlook being unable to consider your employment application.

Passive Information Collection: Cookies and Similar Technology

We and our service providers may use “cookies” and on the Careers Sites. Cookies are data that a web server transfers to an individual’s computer for recordkeeping purposes. We use cookies and to better serve you with more tailored information and facilitate your ongoing access to and use of our Careers Sites.  We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. 

The use of cookies by our [partners, affiliates, tracking utility company, service providers] is/is not covered by our privacy policy.  We do/do not have access or control over these cookies.  Our [partners, affiliates, tracking utility company, service providers] use session ID cookies [to make it easier for you to navigate our site, in order for you to use the shopping cart, etc.] 

If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to automatically decline cookies, or to be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer of a particular cookie, or cookies from a particular web site, to your computer. We also employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective.  Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users.  In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’ personally identifiable information.

Additionally, as is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files.  This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. 

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy.  We do not sell your personal information to third parties.  Personal information about you will be reviewed by Outlook employees or agents who have a business need to access such personal information and may include recruiters, human resources personnel, technical services personnel and managers or their designees.

We may share personal information about you with selected service providers or consultants acting on our behalf. Your personal information is shared with our service provider, Taleo, and information provided in the application process is stored on Taleo’s servers. Taleo, and other third parties acting on behalf of Outlook, are required to protect personal information. Please consult the Taleo privacy policy at http://www.taleo.com/privacy/privacy-policy.

Outlook also may disclose personal information about you in order to: (1) protect the legal rights, privacy or safety of Outlook or its employees, agents and contractors; (2) protect the safety and security of visitors to our web sites or other properties; (3) protect against fraud or other illegal activity or for risk management purposes; (4) respond to inquiries or requests from government or public authorities; (5) pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain; (6) enforce our terms of service; or (7) comply with the law or legal process.

Outlook also may transfer any and all information that we collect about you to third parties in the event of any merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of Outlook’s assets or stock (including without limitation in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Access and Correction

If you choose to register on the site, you may access, review, and change some of the personal information collected about you and stored on the Site by logging into the Site and choosing to update your account information. The updated profile will be used as the default the next time you apply for a job using your account online. To change personal information that you already have submitted for consideration for a specific position, please resubmit your application to update personal information about you that is associated with that job application. We encourage you to promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate.

Requests to remove personal information from Outlook’s candidate database should be emailed to privacy@outlookamusements.com, or requested by phone or mail to the postal address listed below.  We will respond to your request to access within 30 days.   Outlook will respond to such requests by removing the individual’s contact information from the database – specifically, the individual’s email address, telephone number and address – and noting that the individual does not wish to be contacted. All other information regarding the individual will remain in the database, notwithstanding the request.

Data Retention

We are required to retain information relating to candidates applying for jobs within the United States. If there is no activity in relation to the personal information, Outlook may remove it from its database, subject to Outlook’s data retention policies and practices and any applicable legal or regulatory obligations. Note that Outlook may delete personal information about you at any time (including your CV/résumé), for any or no reason and without notice to you. Therefore, please retain your own copy of the personal information provided to us.

Security

We take reasonable precautions to safeguard the personal information transmitted between visitors and the Careers Sites and the personal information stored on our servers. Unfortunately, no method of transmitting or storing data can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  Do not send sensitive information via email. It is your sole responsibility to use the appropriate level of care whenever communicating with us.

If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, you feel that the security of any account you might have with us has been compromised), you must immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us at privacy@outlookamusements.com.

Testimonials

With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name.  If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at privacy@outlookamusements.com.

Links to other websites

The Careers Sites may contain links to other websites. The operators of those other websites may collect information about you, through cookies or other technologies. If you link to another website, you will leave the Careers Sites and this Policy will not apply to your use of and activity on those other sites.

If you provide personal information through any other site, your transaction will occur on that website (not the Outlook Careers Sites) and the personal information you provide will be collected by, and controlled by the privacy Policy of that website operator. Links on the Careers Sites to other websites are provided only as a convenience, and the inclusion of such links does not imply endorsement of the linked site. We encourage you to read the legal notices posted on those sites, including their privacy policies. We have no responsibility or liability for your visitation to, and the data collection and use practices of, other sites.

Changes to the Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time in order to address future developments of Outlook, the Site or changes in industry or legal trends. We will post the revised Policy on the Careers Sites or announce the change on the home page of the Careers Sites prior to the change becoming effective. You can determine when the Policy was revised by referring to the “Last Updated” legend on the top of this Policy. Any changes will become effective upon the posting of the revised Policy on the Careers Sites. By continuing to use the Sites following such changes, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, in whole or part, you can choose to not continue to use the Careers Sites.
